Riley... he's a funny guy, albeit clumsy and block-headed at times. Then there's Allan and Tay; for brother and sister they get on really well.

A small insert dialogue line when writing up a short story for Adena Krieger and Zephyr versus Zeed. The battle turns in favor of Zeed, Adena ends up attacking Zephyr and putting her in a near-death position.
Adena and Zephyr were rivals when they first met. One used swords, the other magic, and they were both snide towards each other. This is the turning point when Zephyr realizes Adena has a really broken background and in order to survive, she needs as many allies as she can get.
I doubt I'll actually post the actual literature, because it is amazingly more graphic than my usual writing (Yes, it is more disturbing and dark than 'Black vs White', a 'Sin for Him' and 'Maybe it was Fated'.) But if people actually want the finished thing posted, I'll probably attach heavy censorship to it or slap a heavy mature filter on it. Either way, I wanted to write something as dark as possible and this is one segment of it I felt came out rather well.
