Atlantean Guardian 1996 version

Waiting on confirmation before I can upload the first part of his commission. Meanwhile, I've noticed the release of the second Tomb Raider reboot roll around and go. Unfortunately, I think this will be the only mainline TR game I won't end up buying due to it's somewhat distasteful content portrayed in the trailers. I just couldn't see myself play something so disturbing.

Anyway, I haven't seen any fanart faithful to the original mutant designs in Tomb Raider 1. When square enix remade the game in 2007 or something, the game was a good reboot but the Mutants were downright disappointing. Atlantis had all the gore removed and the mutants were downgraded to bulky kittys that don't explode anymore. These creatures used to scare me so much when I was a kid and I loved it for that, it influenced the creatures I'm interested in today.
