FFVI-5: Perspectives I: Espers

Over the course of several years, life had appeared somewhat settled in the world of balance. It was hard to believe that the planet once suffered an atrocious calamity which ripped the planets face of beauty and balance causing it to rot with impurity and ruin.

It was mid-autumn, and the weather was turning colder and more miserable. After the calamity, the few remaining espers thrived in a secerative cavern embedded in the planet. How exactly, they survived still remains a mystery after the illeged ruination of magic from the world.

CONCEPT:- The Ancient Hex Dragonby =DeadlyObsession

The majestic and beautiful ancient variation of the unique one and only Hex Dragon. A long in the works design that has been in the sketch stages for about 4 years. Last night I came across one of the old sketches, and decided to bring it to life. A comparison shot of the original Hex Dragon is below.

May post some of the old conceptual sketches for fun later on down the line. The final result looks a lot different from his original counterpart; but he retains the colour scheme and the crown features, which were the dragons main visual traits.

Holy crap. Looks pretty boss. The massive frontal claws are pretty catchy too. Also, like how his wings are bent back like that. Makes me wonder how fast it is.
