Grenth Alber - The Shattered Knight

Occupation:- Guard of the Rurikon District.
Grenth has a dislike to his job. He's not a very socialistic person, and is rather modest, unable to act if a rowdy civilian shouts profanities towards him. He was born with the name 'Grenth' after the human Necromancer of the six gods. He has no knowledge of his true mother and father, and people consider him an omen, preferring to stay away from him.

After receiving help from Kryss Winterheld dealing with a rowdy Charr, Grenth learns to draw his sword and fight properly for the first time, saving the life of Queen Jennah and impressing Logan Thackey. Grenth is eventually promoted, and realizes he must detach himself from the town he had lived in so long and venture through the world. Unable to tolerate this alone, Kryss offers to bring him with her adventures through Tyria and they travel across the land of ice and into the realms of Ascalon; where Grenth discovers the scar of Dragonbrand, finally causing him to realize the outside world he had been ignoring all this time.

Later on, Grenth is eventually corrupted entirely by the Dragonbrand, and serves as champion to Kralkatorik.
